Nouveauté
Cette révision des Catalyst ajoute le support du CrossFire logiciel pour toutes combinaisons de Radeon X1900 et X1950 installé sur un système sous Windows XP ou XP Pro 64.
(Le CrossFire n’est pas supporté par les Radeon X1950 Pro)
Performances
On dénote une augmentation de performances dans Call of Duty 2. Gain de 12.5% en réglages 19x12 et d’au moins 10.5% en réglage 12x10 sur configurations CrossFire X1900. Les gains de performances sont encore plus conséquents avec l’Anti Aliasing X4 activé.
Bugs résolu
Si vous aviez un plantage de 3DMark03 avec une Radeon X9500/9600/9700 sous Windows XP, et bien vous ne l’aurez plus, ceci est corrigé.
De même que sous PCMark05 la suite de test 3D pixel shader et 3D vertex shader ne plante plus non plus.
Vous pouvez maintenant également profiter de Tomb Raider Legend avec le CrossFire, sans subir de pertes de performances.
