Nouvelle année, nouvelle
mouture, avec un 7 comme ...2007 la nouvelle révision des pilotes Catalyst
est disponible avec sont lot de corrections de bugs et de nouveautés, et le
Crossfire y est à l'honneur !
NouveautéLe mode de rendu Crossfire
AFR (Alternate Frame Rendering) est maintenant appliqué par défaut, les
performances seront donc bien supérieures dans le cas d'une utilisation d'applications
compatible AFR.
Ceci inclus les sorties
récentes d'applications, par la suite lorsque certaines applications auront
tout spécialement été profilées pour le Crossfire, alors d'autres
améliorations pour le Crossfire seront ajouté aux Catalyst.
Bugs résolusVoici les principales
résolutions de Bugs de ces Catalyst 7.1, le changelog complet est à la page

- Desperados 2: Le jeu ne provoque plus
d'erreurs dans le atioglxx.dll avec le AA activé.
- Rome: Total War: Plus
de corruptions d'affichage sur systèmes AMD Dual Core ou Intel Dual core avec
une carte de la série X1800..
- Sniper Elite: Sous
Windows XP avec une carte de la série RadeonTM X1600 installé, il n'y a plus de
corruptions de textures.
- Splinter Cell Double
Agent: Plus de corruptions avec le AA activé.
- X-29: Lancé une
application X-29 ne provoque plus l'affichage d'un message d'erreur.

- X-29:Launching

- During video
playback, DirectX Video Acceleration (DXVA) is now available when CrossFire

- Attempting to
maximize an OpenGL application window no longer results in either the OpenGL

- Clicking on
the Restore Factory Defaults button found in the ATI Catalyst Control Center™->TV
Properties no longer results in the TV position failing to be restored to the

- Setting the
display panel attributes to Scale Image to Full Panel Size, followed by
entering an S3 state no longer results in the desktop failing to resume to a

- The Force TV
Detection is no longer available for activation on systems that do not have a

- MCE no longer
fails when scanning channels or when switching from digital channels to analog.

messages "This South Bridge Driver is no longer compatible with the
hardware installed on this system" and "Please wait while detecting
