wPrime est une application d'étalonnage conçus pour une approche multi-threads. Il calcule la racine carrée de grandes quantités de numéros. Jusqu'à 1024 Milliards des premiers entiers.

We've just found that wPrime is indeed hanging on certain systems (confirmed on a fresh install of Windows Vista). It appears as though Vista would assign a different temporary directory to wPrime from CPUz (probably because wPrime was run as Admin). Consequently wPrime never found the CPUz output file and waited.

We've corrected this in version 2.03. Please run in compatibility mode in 64 bit OS and as Administrator on Windows Vista or 7.

We've just corrected a performance issue in v2.01, this has been released as v2.02 and is available on the Downloads Page. On-line submissions from earlier versions are no longer being accepted. Unfortunately we've had to remove all of the v2.01 scores. Sorry for the inconvenience.On a brighter note, we've released Leaderboards for various platform types: Leaderboards
